Types of dinosaurs |
Theropods.
Theropods were monstrous creatures, built for speed and a deadly bite. Tyrannosaurus Rex is a excellent example for this type of dinosaur. Its hind legs were huge while it arms were short, its teeth were sharpened to a point, which helped it with its carnivores meals. "Sue", a T-Rex who was found in western South Dakota, is one of the most finished dinosaur to ever be found.

Sauropods
Ceratopsians |
Sauropods were one of the largest animals on this planet. But don't worry, they're more interested in the ferns and leaves than anything else. Their long necks helped them with the tasks of eating the tall tree leaves in their environments, but, their giant body's made them extremely slow. Don't be fooled however, their tail is like a whip to predators that dare to attack, and when there in groups, they might just be unstoppable.
|
Ceratopsians were one of the most feared herbivores, their horns acting as their weapons. Their bodies were also smaller then many other dinosaurs, which could've been good for charging at enemies. They were a very hostile type of dinosaur and ate the ferns and shrubs below the trees instead of the ones high above (sense they couldn't reach them).
